Designing and Delivering the Content for Workshop on “Participation of Private Sector in Overcoming Energy Poverty in SAARC Member States.”

Training content, designed, researched, developed and delivered for the government of Sri Lanka, with participation from SAARC member countries.

REE contributed through TA and providing specialist resource (Amer Zafar Durrani) to the following aspects of this training/capacity building workshop for Government of Sri Lanka.

  1. Public and Private Partnerships
  2. Specific Energy Markets And Financing Landscapes For Private Sector
  3. Energy Poverty and Sustainable On- and Off-Grid Solutions
  4. The Nexus between Sustainable Power and Growing Local Economies

REE (then Reenergia-Enhar) worked with SAARC Energy Center to design, research, develop, and deliver content for training in the above four areas, based on real-life experiences and case studies. The training was targeted at all participating SAARC member countries and hosted by the Ministry of Power and Energy of the Government of Sri Lanka.
