End of project evaluation of the 40million Euro WBG-AICS financed Program for Poverty Reduction (PPR) This project, PPR, using a community-driven development approach, focused on poverty reduction in selected districts of Balochistan province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) which merged with KP following the 31st Amendment of May 28th, 2018, of the Parliament—since known as newly merged districts (NMDs).
The evaluation involved KIIs, FGDs, and data-analysis to evaluate the performance of the PPR at closing, using the DAC OECD framework. The PPR covered multiple sectors including WASH, infrastructure, capacity building, governance improvement, and multi-tiered social mobilization and was spread across 38 Union Councils of 14 districts in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and erstwhile FATA.
