At Reenergia, we’re not just another advisory firm; we’re a catalyst for change. We specialize in creating bespoke solutions that connect people and ideas from across the globe, carving out innovative pathways for sustainable growth. Our global reach and local expertise allow us to bring a world of experience to every project, ensuring that our impact is both profound and far-reaching.
Our work spans continents, from Pakistan and the MENA region to China and beyond. We’ve built strong networks within communities, enabling us to tap into resources and forge connections that others find challenging or impossible. This unique capability allows us to design and implement solutions that are not only effective but also deeply rooted in the local context.
For instance, our recent pilot project with eShaafi, a telehealth service provider, is a testament to our approach. By expanding eShaafi’s operations into rural areas of Gilgit Baltistan, we’ve layered services provided by community development centers, donors like UNDP, local governments, and international NGOs. This initiative demonstrates how we can take a for-profit venture and turn it into a powerful tool for social impact, creating a compelling business case while serving underserved regions.

Our projects are diverse and impactful. From the Small and Medium Enterprise Environment & Performance Index (SEPI) that supports SMEs, especially women-led businesses, to the Pakistan Green Transition Fund (PGTF) driving climate action, we are committed to fostering economic resilience and sustainable growth. Our work in trade infrastructure, food security, and sustainable agriculture showcases our ability to address complex challenges with innovative solutions.
At Reenergia, we believe in Creating Shared Value. Our investments, whether in a cozy coffee shop in Hunza or transforming rainfed land into irrigated farms in Kallar Kahar, are designed to empower communities and drive positive change. We blend profit with purpose, ensuring that our solutions are efficient, self-sustainable, and beneficial to all stakeholders.
Social Impact Financing – Focused on GB
At Reenergia, we are enchanted by the majestic mountain ranges of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) and are dedicated to fostering economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for its communities. Our passion for this pristine paradise drives us to support GB in becoming an internationally recognized and coveted destination.
We have been pivotal in raising investment for government-led projects in GB, bridging the gap between the private sector and donors. Our comprehensive studies, such as those conducted under the ETI, have empowered community-based enterprises to create robust market linkages within Pakistan and beyond. Projects like the Developing Scalable Off-Grid Energy Partnerships (SOGEP) with PPAF, Energy Mapping and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment of Access to Electricity in Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral, and Demand Side Energy Landscape Mapping reflect our commitment to preserving GB’s natural ecosystem while laying the foundation for sustainable growth.
However, we often encounter the same challenge: a lack of sustainable financing. To address this, we are innovating with the GB Social Impact Fund (SIF) – a groundbreaking initiative designed to unite all benefactors and lovers of GB. The SIF aims to fill the financing gaps left by stakeholders, ensuring the sustainability of quality health, education, and infrastructure projects. See our model below.

We successfully implemented the telehealth pilot project in collaboration with Reenergia, eShaafi Limited, and GBRSP, which was launched in Gilgit-Baltistan at Khaplu Bala in Ghanche. The project featured two models: Model 1 (Teleconsultations at Home) and Model 2 (Teleconsultation at CBDRMC) in Baltistan. Additionally, Model 1 (Teleconsultations at Home) was launched in Gulkin, Gojal, Hunza, with plans to launch Model 2 there once construction of the Gulkin facility is completed, which is expected in a couple of months. The core objective of the project was to enhance healthcare accessibility by providing innovative telehealth solutions. To achieve this, we developed a sustainable telehealth framework that ensures community-based delivery, with clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and comprehensive pilot implementation guidelines. In addition, we enhanced telehealth services to improve the delivery of essential health information, outreach messaging, counseling, and training. Tailored solutions were developed for both rural and urban populations, with a focus on service delivery and payment systems to ensure long-term. We have successfully completed this project, and to ensure its sustainability, we have established the Telehealth Impact Fund, which operates as a sub-fund under the Social Impact Fund.

The project aims to assess the impact of Sakinah Care’s maternal health interventions, including proven Clean Birth Kits (CBKs), anemia management, and breastfeeding support in underserved communities. It evaluates the intervention package’s sufficiency in improving maternal and neonatal health indicators, particularly reducing maternal and neonatal deaths, postpartum hemorrhage, sepsis, and neonatal infections. A randomized trial will compare communities with and without these interventions, tracking key health metrics such as maternal anemia status, delivery details, and six-week postnatal health outcomes. The goal is to demonstrate the efficacy of CBKs and related interventions in preventing complications.
Partner with Sakinah Care, Sakinah Healthcare is a social organization dedicated to improving maternal health, reducing infant mortality, and providing vocational training in Pakistan. Founded with a mission to address the healthcare struggles faced by common people in the 70s and 80s, it aims to ensure better healthcare access for women today. The organization is committed to enhancing maternal health services and establishing a network of clinics. Sakinah Healthcare is also focused on training healthcare professionals to create sustainable improvements in the sector.
