Reenergia Impact Partners with The Asia Foundation to Launch the SIIN Fund
Reenergia Impact is pleased to announce that it has received a grant from The Asia Foundation under the Impact Finance Catalyst Program to support the development of the Sustainable Impact and Innovation Nexus (SIIN) Fund.
The SIIN Fund is a US$100 million blended-finance initiative designed to unlock capital for scalable solutions addressing Pakistan’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. The Fund aims to support innovative solutions operating at the nexus of health, food systems, and forest ecosystems, while strengthening the country’s broader impact investing ecosystem.
The Fund will also integrate cross-cutting enablers, including artificial intelligence and digital technologies, renewable energy, and sustainable mobility, to accelerate innovation, enhance efficiency, and support scalable impact. At the centre of SIIN’s approach is a strong commitment to community ownership, ensuring that solutions are locally relevant, inclusive, and designed to create long-term value for the communities they serve.
Pakistan’s innovation ecosystem is home to enterprises developing practical solutions to address critical development challenges. However, many high-potential businesses face barriers in accessing the right mix of capital and strategic support required to scale. The SIIN Fund has been designed to help bridge this gap by creating a platform that connects investors, development partners, government stakeholders, enterprises, and ecosystem actors around a shared impact agenda. Through this collaborative approach, the SIIN Fund aims to catalyze long-term investment into solutions capable of delivering both sustainable financial returns and measurable social and environmental impact.
The Fund will also focus on building the institutional and financial foundations required to unlock new investment pathways, develop a pipeline of investment-ready enterprises, and strengthen impact measurement and management systems.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Amer Z. Durrani, President of Reenergia Impact, said:
“This is the beginning of a new community development and finance paradigm for Pakistan and the harbinger of an era of self-reliant and sustainable businesses delivering on profits and impacts—seamlessly.”

We’re excited that The Asia Foundation Pakistan is the establishing partner in this important initiative and look forward to its impact in shaping future economy.”
