Reenergia Impact Signs Strategic Partnership with Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Programme (GBRSP)

Reenergia Impact is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Programme (GBRSP), marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration to advance sustainable development, community resilience, and inclusive economic growth across Gilgit-Baltistan and other underserved regions of Pakistan. 

The partnership brings together Reenergia Impact’s expertise in impact advisory, innovative financing, and program implementation with GBRSP’s extensive experience in grassroots development and community mobilization. Through this collaboration, the two organizations will work to identify, support, and scale community-based enterprises and development initiatives that create sustainable social, economic, and environmental impact. 

A key focus of the partnership is to strengthen local value chains, promote sustainable food systems, support forest ecosystem conservation, and enhance livelihood opportunities for communities. The collaboration will also seek to improve access to technical assistance, capacity-building support, and innovative financing mechanisms for high-potential enterprises and community organizations operating in the region. 

The MoU further creates opportunities for eligible enterprises and initiatives to engage with Reenergia Impact’s Sustainable Impact and Innovation Nexus (SIIN) Fund, a platform designed to mobilize capital and accelerate investment into solutions addressing critical development challenges. By combining their networks, resources, and expertise, Reenergia Impact and GBRSP aim to foster entrepreneurship, attract investment, and create pathways for long-term, community-led development. 

Commenting on the partnership, representatives from both organizations highlighted the importance of collaborative approaches in addressing complex development challenges and unlocking sustainable opportunities for local communities. The partnership reflects a shared commitment to building resilient economies, strengthening local institutions, and creating lasting impact through innovation, investment, and community empowerment.
