This project is a Price Incentive Analysis (PIA) for Pakistan’s agricultural commodities (wheat, rice, maize, cotton, sugarcane, milk, meat). It entails data collection, quantitative analysis, and policy review to assess market distortions, price support, and trade dynamics. Conducted as an analytical research and evaluation exercise, it integrates field data, policy context, and stakeholder inputs for evidence-based agricultural policy design.
The World Bank Group
Led by the Pakistan Banks Association with Ipsos-Reenergia, this is a research and survey-based initiative. It will deliver a twin index measuring SME performance and the enabling environment across sectors and regions. Combining literature reviews, stakeholder consultations, large-scale surveys, and statistical modeling, SEPI aims to guide policy, finance, and inclusive SME growth.
Federal Board of Revenue
This project comprises multi-module stakeholder perception surveys assessing reforms in taxpayer facilitation, trade facilitation, and anti-smuggling. Using quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, it evaluates awareness, effectiveness, transparency, and institutional trust. The study provides evidence-based insights into reform performance, user experience, compliance behavior, and governance challenges across revenue and border management systems.
The United States Agency for International Development
The BEEIP Project (2022), commissioned by USAID under SMEA, developed and piloted a Business Enabling Environment Index tailored for Pakistan’s SMEs. Combining desk research, global index review, KIIs, validation workshops, and a national SME survey of 900+ firms, it assessed barriers, costs, and support factors. The project was a research, survey, and policy design exercise for SME competitiveness and reform.
The World Bank Group
The Truck Transport Profiling Survey, commissioned by the World Bank and executed by Reenergia–Ipsos, assessed freight traffic at Karachi Port Trust and Port Qasim Authority. Using CAPI surveys, FGDs, KIIs, and field data, it analyzed truck types, cargo profiles, routes, driver demographics, travel times, and port operations. The project was a survey-based research and diagnostic study on freight and logistics.
The Balochistan End-of-Grid Survey (2019), commissioned by IFC, assessed household, commercial, and industrial energy access in Bela, Hub, Uthal, and Winder. Using 2,000+ household and business surveys, FGDs, and IDIs, it examined grid reliability, backup solutions, alternative energy adoption, and willingness-to-pay. The project was a field-based survey and diagnostic study to inform renewable energy interventions and distributed generation models in Southern Balochistan.
