The Iraq Development Road Project
We aim to develop a concise ‘Scoping Note’ and ‘Executive Presentation’ for the Urban Team (IMNU1), outlining strategic interventions for Iraq’s Development Road project, including integrated trade corridors, climate-resilient transport, improved public transport, and sustainable urban planning.
We developed a concise “Scoping Note” and an “Executive Presentation” for the Urban Team (IMNU1) on the MNA region, outlining potential outcomes and intervention areas for Iraq’s Development Road project. This included trade corridor development linked to economic hubs, climate-resilient transport infrastructure, public transport enhancement (e.g., mass transit, e-mobility), and spatial planning for sustainable city growth. Additionally, we provided a “Business Development Strategy” to maximize Urban Team engagement in Iraq, supporting the Transport Team with an integrated infrastructure approach. This work, structured in two phases, included presentations and dialogues with key country and sector teams.
